Hi, I’m Jake Walker. I grew up on a farm in central Alabama and met my wife, Keeley, back in high school when we were both on the drum line. We married in December 2017, and a few years later, in 2020, God blessed us with our son. He’s now a busy little toddler who loves to explore just about everything.

I first felt God’s call to ministry while I was a freshman at Huntingdon College in Montgomery. With the help of my pastor and a Bible professor who both poured into me, I surrendered to that calling. In 2013, my home church, Thelma Baptist, licensed me into Gospel ministry, and I had the opportunity to serve there as a student ministry intern. Those years really deepened my love for the local church and for walking with people in their faith.

Since then, I’ve earned a master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and my family and I have continued to follow where the Lord leads. My greatest joy is preaching the Word, loving people well, and helping others see how the Gospel transforms everyday life.

At the end of the day, our heart as a family is simple—to trust the Lord, follow His leading, and serve His Kingdom with joy.
